Pads
We sell two types of pads for Oriental Rugs:
Machine Made Rugs
One type is a Solid pad made of a superior quality polyester fabric coated with a high grade vinyl compound which gives the pad a luxurious feel and supports the rug evenly to help retain its appearance.

Other features include:
- treatment with MSM-Fresh an antimicrobial barrier to inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew
- moth-proofing
- fire-retardent
- easily cut to size
- 10 year warranty on its “non-slip” properties

 
Hand Made Rugs
The other type of pad sold at Ward’s is called Persian Dream. This pad is a thick felt cushioned pad with a natural rubber backing which gives a luxurious feel underfoot.
Other features include:
- good on tile floors. Grout marks will not show through
- keeps rugs smooth and in place over all hard floors
- keeps rugs smooth and in place over carpeting
- keeps rugs looking new longer
- prevents premature formation of “traffic lanes” on rug
- 20 year warranty
